The Jin'an Jinsha River Bridge is currently the world's largest mountain canyon steel truss suspension bridge under construction. The main tower is 228 meters high (including the tower crown) and is a reinforced concrete portal frame structure. The tower top is 479 meters vertically above the Jinsha River surface, nearly the height of a 160 story building. China's manufacturing strength has once again amazed the world. Because this super project is located on the banks of the Jinsha River, it belongs to the "three high areas" of high altitude, large altitude difference, and high seismic intensity.
It is a canyon suspension bridge with complex structure, high technical difficulty, and the largest span constructed in the "three high areas" worldwide.
As such a super project, there are many peculiarities in the construction process, and on the basis of inheriting China's bridge building skills, many innovative engineering technologies are needed to complete it. For example, the concrete used for the tower columns of this bridge is basalt mechanism sand concrete, which is characterized by being "hard" and "heavy". This type of aggregate determines the crucial quality control in the concrete processing, but the HZS120D containerized concrete mixing plant produced by Fangyuan Group has easily completed this arduous task! The production volume is over 600000 cubic meters, and the 230 meter high tower column has been successfully capped, and wear-resistant parts such as mixing blades and steel wire ropes have never been replaced.
